What is IPTV?
IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is TV delivered over your internet connection instead of an aerial, dish or cable. You watch through an app on your Smart TV, Firestick, phone or tablet. Full explanation.
Which devices can I use?
Amazon Firestick, Android TV boxes and Google TV, Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, MAG boxes, and Windows or Mac computers. Device guide.
Which app should I use?
IPTV Smarters Pro is free and works on most devices. TiviMate (Android TV / Firestick) has the best TV guide and recording. On Samsung and LG TVs, apps such as IBO Player or Smart IPTV work well.
What internet speed do I need?
About 25 Mbps per stream for Full HD and 50 Mbps for 4K. A stable connection matters more than top speed. Speed guide.
How do I order?
Choose a plan on the pricing section, click Order and complete the payment. We then email you your login details and setup instructions.
How long does activation take?
After payment we send your details by email, usually within a few hours. Check your spam folder if you don't see our email.
What will I receive after payment?
A username, password and server URL (Xtream Codes login) and/or an M3U link, plus instructions for your device. MAG users receive activation on the box's MAC address.
Can I use one subscription on several devices?
You can install it on several devices, but most plans allow one stream at a time. If you need to watch on two screens simultaneously, email our team before ordering.
Is there a contract?
No. You pay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Nothing renews automatically unless you order again.
Which plan is best value?
The 12-month plan has the lowest price per month. If you are new to IPTV, start with 1 month to test your devices and connection.
Why is my stream buffering?
Usually Wi-Fi or a busy home network. Restart the router and device, use 5 GHz Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable, and clear the app cache. Full troubleshooting.
My TV guide (EPG) is empty – what do I do?
In your app open Settings → EPG → Update/Refresh and wait a few minutes. Some international channels have limited guide data.
Can I record or watch catch-up?
Catch-up works on channels marked with a catch-up icon. Recording is available in some apps such as TiviMate. Features guide.
Can I set parental controls?
Yes. IPTV Smarters, TiviMate and MAG all let you lock categories or channels with a PIN.
Is IPTV legal in Ireland?
IPTV technology is legal; what matters is whether the channels are licensed. Read our legal guide.
Do I still need a TV licence?
If you have a television set in Ireland, a TV licence is required regardless of how you watch.
